I recently graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Kanbar Institute for Film and Television, with a BFA and a minor in producing. With a wide range of skills and software at my disposal, I research, write, direct, edit, produce, create graphics, design and maintain websites, and eagerly continue to develop new interests and talents. I thrive on artistic and creative challenges of all kinds. The sky is the limit.
I Can . . .
- type 65+ words a minute (70 while "in the zone")
- pillage on the high seas (carpentry is my forté, but my bilging is rather shoddy)
- edit film, video, and audio with as much software as I can fit on my PC and three external hard drives
- proofread as only a grammar aficionado can (beware the panda and his grammar punctuation kit!)
- recite the alphabet song backwards (and in tune)
- create and maintain websites using html, css, and a spunky sense of color and design
- write epically long parodies featuring short-skirted (and incompetent) superheroes
I Love . . .
- everything the creative genius Joss Whedon has ever made (vampires, spaceships, slayers, oh my!)
- designing and manipulating graphics with Photoshop, the image editing program of the gods
- young adult fantasy novels, particularly those with capable female protagonists and schools for witchcraft and wizardry
- British actors and British spellings (every "o" should be followed by a "u"!)
- crunching numbers with Microsoft Excel (it's more entertaining than you would think)
